We would firstly like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and loyalty. This is a difficult time for many small businesses. In light of this weeks update, we wanted to confirm we will remain open this coming week, including Mothering Sunday.
This will remain the case until a mandatory closure is enforced.
The safety of our guests, staff and local community is our absolute priority, and you can be assured that health and safety have our complete attention.
The new government guidelines are particularly important for people who:
- are 70 or over
- have a long-term condition
- are pregnant
- have a weakened immune system
Please do not come into Nonna’s to dine if you have:
- a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly
- been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19
- have recently returned from a country that is infected
Some tips to avoid spreading any bacteria
- wash your hands with soap and water when you arrive at Nonna’s
- wash your hands when you get home
- use bacteria wipes on phones and laptops
- cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
- put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
How You Can Support Us and Other Local Businesses
We understand this is a difficult time for everyone and there will be cases where you will need to cancel your booking. If you do have to cancel (you can do this through your email booking), please give us notice rather than just not turn up.
Please note if you can’t make your booking you still have an option of takeaway or buying a voucher to use at a future date.
Takeaway and Supplies
We are offering our normal takeaway menu and a new extended takeaway menu which includes tray bakes and even our Mega Roast. We also have a supplier list and instructions on how to order. Perfect if you are looking for tinned foods, pasta, cleaning supplies etc.
Check out the menus HERE:
We currently offer free delivery within a 5-mile radius.
You can buy gift vouchers at Nonna’s. If you buy a £100 voucher we will give £20 extra.
You can also buy a voucher online and have it delivered to you by post or email.
These would make a great present.
Social Media and Reviews
Please continue to engage with our social media. Every like, comment and share helps with our brand awareness as does positive reviews.
Action We Have Taken at Nonnas
All of our employees are fully aware of the current requirements and are undertaking extreme levels of health and safety procedures to ensure that the highest possible hygiene standards are maintained, throughout every aspect and area of Nonna’s.
As well as regularly washing hands, we have brought in extra hand sanitiser dispensers for staff and customers. We are regularly cleaning (even more than usual) commonly touched areas – including all door handles, phones, till screens, reception desk, laptop keyboard, etc.
We are partaking in regular risk assessments and training all staff to ensure the potential spread of this disease is kept to an absolute minimum. We have also asked all suppliers to sit a short questionnaire to ensure we are fully protecting ourselves.
We will be following developments on a daily basis with intense scrutiny and keeping you updated. If you have any further questions, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
We understand this is a worrying time but we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.
